Ad Writing
After graduating from Purdue University with a B.A. in Communications, Angie was an advertising copywriter and voice talent for WASK/WKOA Radio in Lafayette, Indiana.With the birth of her first son, Angie began her home-based, freelance career as an advertising copywriter for print and broadcast media. She writes for a variety of businesses: printing company, musical organizations, universities, information technology, health care, banks, heating and cooling, engineering software firm, insurance agency, and interior designer.
Creative concept and campaign development is a specialty.
Angie writes copy for brochures, direct mail, billboards, newspaper ads, invitations, announcements, holiday cards, tradeshow giveaways, radio, TV and jingles.
Addy Awards
Angie has won more than 20 ADDY¨ Awards from the American Advertising Federation. Her creative writing has been recognized in her work with direct mail, billboards, corporate holiday cards, radio commercials, calendars and more. In 2002, she won a "Best of Show" award with a postcard and billboard campaign for NetLink Technologies, a computer design and consulting firm.
The ADDY Awards are the world's largest advertising competition. It is the only awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry to represent the spirit of creative excellence.
